I don't normally post industry related new, but this is an exception. Check out this interview with James Green. You might ask `Who is James Green?' He's the guy from Epic who stopped by at F.R.A.G. v4.0 and gave us some UT shirts and a copy of UT (before it was available in stores) to hand out as prizes. He's a cool dude.

I'm almost dead. Gouki and I just got back this afternoon around 4:00pm from Dallas. I do not recommend a 20+ hour drive if you can avoid it. We've got dates for the upcoming F.R.A.G. event and will be posting that as soon as possible.

Well, I'm alive. We've got tons of photos and stuff to put into a history page so you can all see what happened at F.R.A.G. v5.0. While things didn't go as planned (do they ever?), I have to say this was a pretty damn fun party. The staff will be meeting this week sometime to discuss our next party and we'll start to put up information as it becomes available. So stay tuned.

Okay, I did mention this is an announcement but apparently I neglected to include it here on the web site. If you're registered and haven't paid, that's fine. You can pay at the door. The downside is that when you pay at the door, we charge you an extra $5.00. So to get in if you haven't paid you'll need $35.00.
If you haven't even registered, that's okay too, we are allowing walk-ins until all the seats are reserved. So it really behooves you to go ahead and register while registration is still open (it closes tonight!). Again, you'll pay $35 because you'll be paying at the door.

First Post! Okay, maybe not, but let me announce to the world that we have confirmed Red Hat's sponsorship in a large way. Red Hat has donated 100 shirts for us to give away at FRAG 5. As it stands we only have 69 people registered and so everyone will all get a shirt! Also we will have several boxed copies of RH Linux to give away as well as a gift bag for every player that shows up even if we go over the magical 100 person mark.

We're at that magic number as I write this. 69 people signed up. We still need more people, so if you are allready signed up, start bugging the snot out of your game playing friends to sign up and show up.

It's awesome to look at the registry and see some people coming in from as far away as New York. I can't wait to see the smack get put down in some serious deathmatch action. Hehehe.
The party is only a few weeks away now and the F.R.A.G. staff is busting serious hump to make sure everything will be ready to rock when the 31st rolls around. Frankly, I'm about as excited as I can get, which we all know means fresh underwear!

Everything is rolling along according to plan for F.R.A.G. v5.0! Nothing is cancelled, nothing is on hold or being sacrificed. So, if you want to attend a most excellent LAN party, the only thing I can say is sign up.
Everything that has been at our previous parties will be at v5.0. Low ping, MP3 Jukebox, lots of prizes, and tons of gaming goodness.
