Something big is in the works.
frankos, Lunk, Stone, and I went out for a few hours today to check
into a new concept in LAN parties. We all agree it's going to work, and
we're making it a reality. Our intention is not to annoy you folks with
the fact that we can't give much in the way of specifics yet. We're
working on something that'll be a brand new experience for those who are
lucky enough to attend it next March. It's something that (to my
knowledge) has not been done before.
The secrecy right now is necessary so we can have time to work and
organize sponsors in a meaningful way before we truly "unveil" this. I
already have sponsors interested, and there is talk of possibly making
this a yearly (perhaps even twice yearly) thing.
Believe me... you'll like it. Everyone involved is quite excited about
this.
