Quintin Stone has released a mod for Quake II called Gunslinger. Go
here and check
it out. Perhaps you will see this at the LAN Party. Either that or we'll
be playing Fasion Barbie Quake II.

Wow! I got to play Unreal Tournament yesterday for about 2.5 hours. It was
actually really fun. I never had a chance to play Unreal because my
machine sucked so bad when it came out. It's VERY fun to play over the
LAN. I think when this comes out, we'll see this at the party for sure.

The next Free Range Actiong Gaming party will be held on the 24th of July.
While not at the same bat time, it will be held at the same bat channel.
The Amran Temple will be our venue once again. Check out the preperation
page for information about times. Once we establish a price, we will post
the final dollar ammount here and on the preperation page. Stay tuned.

I have just added some pics to the 032799 party so go check it out! Also,
we have set a date for the next party. Unless we can't find a location,
which I doubt will happen, you can look forward to the next F.R.A.G. on
the weekend of the 24th-26th of July. We are also considering holding
then 4th Frag on Halloween weekend. But that is still far off and we are
concentraing on the next F.R.A.G. for now.

I still need to work out some bugs with the web board and the polls moving
to the new site. Otherwise, the site is doing well.
If you find any problems, please let me know.

If you're reading this, you have more than likely noticed that the
F.R.A.G. pages are in a different location. The move isn't totally
complete yet and a few problems may be left laying around. If you notice
anything not working, or anything that looks weird, let me know and I'll
see wha tI can do to fix it.

I know everyone's wondering when the next party is going to happen. We're
looking over several ideas, everything from increasing our size and moving
out of the Raleigh area, to trying to secure another location inside the
Raleigh area.
Quake III Test has been out and I'm fairly certain we'll play it quite a
bit at the next party. I can even play it on my
crappy system!
I'm impressed.
The web pages will be moving soon, as well as getting a new facelift. We
should have a more stable location plus more bandwidth. Once the new
location is all set up, I'll post the new address and this main page will
point to that location.

Lately rps.net has been having trouble staying connected. It seems
Bellsouth is to blame and may have torn up my router in the process.
Things are on their way to getting better but the problems have impacted
everyone, including the staff list. In short this sucks.
It seems the Shriner's Temple (the current locale for the party) is going
to be hard to book over the next few months due to some scheduling they
have allready lined up. This may mean a change in venue. No matter what, I
recommend you sit tight and rest assured that the next F.R.A.G. will be
coming up as soon as we can swing it. If you have any questions or
anything, feel free to shoot me some mail. If you have location
suggestions, or just want to bitch about the lack of updates. Go for
it.
Otherwise, put your head on your desk and go to sleep.

I updated the previous party pages a little bit. We've gotten four
pictures so far for the last party and I've added two more to the first
party.
We are nailing down a time and location and hope to have that information
available this Friday. If all goes well, registration will open on May
1st. Stay tuned and be cool. Don't forget than Country Kill 2 is coming up
on May 7th! See the links section for a link to their web page.
